Mike Porzio is a former Major League Baseball pitcher born on August 20, 1972, in Waterbury, Connecticut. A left-handed pitcher and batter, Porzio made his MLB debut with the Colorado Rockies on July 9, 1999, and later played for the Chicago White Sox during the 2002 and 2003 seasons.
Standing 6’3″ and weighing 190 pounds, Porzio attended Fairfield College Preparatory School in Connecticut and played college baseball at Villanova University.
Over his MLB career, he appeared in 51 games, posting a win–loss record of 3–3 with a 5.90 ERA and 52 strikeouts across 71.2 innings pitched.
After his time in the majors, Porzio continued playing professionally in the independent leagues, including a stint with the Bridgeport Bluefish in 2008. Mike co-founded The Clubhouse in December of 2009.
